The Ugandan Community of Southwestern Ontario is a board-led, community-based non-profit association. We connect people across the region, strengthen belonging, support community wellbeing and create opportunities for cultural, social and organizational growth.

Message from the Board Chairperson
Our differences need not divide us.
Our longing is simple but important: to see Ugandans across Southwestern Ontario united, connected, empowered and willing to work together. We may differ in political opinion, religious belief, generation, profession or personal experience, but those differences need not divide us. UCSWO is a welcoming, non-partisan and non-religious community space where every Ugandan can belong and contribute with dignity.As we preserve our Ugandan identity, culture and heritage, we also honour Canada—the country we call home—by respecting its laws, democratic principles, diversity, inclusion and shared civic responsibilities.
